Dr. John White is a Diamond Plus Invisalign provider in Northern Ohio and is in the top 1% of Orthodontists worldwide. While most general practice dentists dabble in Invisalign treatment, Dr. White has been a pioneer in the aligner specialty since 2001 with Invisalign.

As a leader in his field, Dr. White not only offers the latest technology, but he helps to drive the aligner specialty forward by sitting on faculty for Align, beta-testing new software and appliances, and lecturing nationally and internationally for Invisalign.

After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1977, Dr. White went directly into the United States Air Force as a general dentist. He was a consultant to the Air Force Surgeon General as well as an instructor at Malcom Grow and David Grant USAF Medical Centers, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Bethesda Naval Medical Center. While in the Air Force, Dr. White’s interest in aligner Orthodontics was born when he starting making clear aligners by hand for his pilot friends who were unable to wear braces while in flying status.

He then went on to receive his MSD in Orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University in 1982 and remained in the United States Air Force until 1988 when he transitioned into private practice.

Dr. White has been in private practice in suburban Cleveland since 1988, and an Associate Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine since 1990.

Furthering his passion for aligner care with Orthodontics, Dr. White created the Invisalign Pioneer Study Club in 2014. What started as a meeting of the minds of the best and brightest in the specialty, all facilitated and organized by our very own, grew to an Invisalign-recognized study group now hosted by Align to continue a commitment to improving Orthodontic aligner care. Dr. White has hosted hundreds of Invisalign Study Clubs nationally and is honored to share and absorb the wisdom of his top friends and colleagues.

When he is not doing the art of Orthodontics or lecturing, he enjoys traveling with his wife Betsy, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and consuming as many books and podcasts as his time allows.
