While many orthodontists and corporate dental groups charge more to treat patients with Invisalign clear aligners, I offer both Invisalign and traditional braces for the same fee. This allows patients to choose which treatment they prefer, and not have that choice dictated by cost. I do not charge my patients more for Invisalign because I believe patients are paying for a result, not the appliance used. And for parents concerned that their teenager may not be compliant with their Invisalign treatment, we offer the option to switch to traditional braces at no additional charge.
There are advantages to both treatments, but I believe I can achieve the same results with both options so it really becomes more of a patient preference.
The cost to the average orthodontist is higher for Invisalign (the lab fee for Invisalign is usually about one thousand dollars more than for traditional braces), but as a result of my volume, I have lower lab fees and can pass along the savings to my patients.
I did more than 300 cases last year alone, which qualifies me as a Top 1% Invisalign Provider ranked in the top 50 solo providers in the world. As a result, I enjoy a discounted lab fee from Align.
So whichever technique is your choice, I am happy to provide the same result at the same fee.
